Orange, Chilli, Spring Onion Salad

This was to freshen up and act as a zingy contrast to the deep-fried fennel (see below). 

Ingredients:

2 juicy oranges, peeled with a knife so there’s no pith, cut into slices

2 spring onions finely sliced

sprinkling of Turkish chilli flakes  “kirmizi biber" – or chopped fresh red chilli

salt

How I made it: 

Lay the cut-up orange slices in a dish, mix with spring onion, pinch of salt and chilli flakes.
